Why I do what I do

I am passionate about helping women feel better and be more confident so they can enjoy their lives and thrive as mothers.

Health is not just about the absence of disease even though that is certainly nice.

True health is a holistic approach.

Making lifestyle choices that will enable you to be healthier.

Being present with the people you love.

Being able to support your family with your own unique gifts in the world.

Once upon a time…

I was a nurse when I was pregnant with my first son back in 2013. Then the natural world of medicine got exposed to me! In nursing school, I was not the one to get lectures or talks about alternative or holistic medicine. The medical training back then was…this is the issue and these are the drugs that help.

So here I am with a nursing job and a new baby and he gets eczema. My husband said he had eczema and he was given cortisone cream and then developed an immunity to it where it didn’t work anymore. So of course the dose went up, the prescription got switched.

My eyes began to open.

Then I started diving deep into natural alternatives. It made sense to me that children had illnesses and rashes and then just passed, I started developing a hesitancy to putting OTC drugs or prescriptions into my childs life.

The midwives in NY that helped me with my 3rd birth really opened things up for me in terms of herbal remedies and homeopathy which led me to working as a childbirth educator and learning from Dr. Aviva Romm about herbal remedies for women.

My passion about learning holistic health and joy in serving my community with the resources I’ve learned has grown so much since those days working as an RN.

I love empowering mothers to start caring for themselves and their families in a natural way.

I teach them about how to make their own remedies and create holistic wellness plans which includes diet, exercise lifestyle, herbs and oils for their health issues.
