Finding a solution to the sensitivity may be a long process, since any substance can trigger a reaction. During the spring season many people develop allergies which are a nuisance to deal with. Essential oils can really be beneficial in this case since so many of them can be used to lessen the intensity of the seasonal allergies. Rosalina (melaleuca ericifolia)

It is a member of the same tree family as tea tree and is pregnancy and kid safe. It reduces inflammation, opens up the sinuses and soothes irritated mucous membranes. It blends well with most oils such as lavender, sweet marjoram and frankincense, making it a nice addition to a diffuser mix. When purchasing this oil, you want to look for a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a woody, herbaceous, floral type aroma.

Spruce (picea abies)

The Pinaceae family is well known to open up the airways. It’s anti inflammatory properties make it useful in airway issues.
